Resources, Research, and Advocacy
By tapping into community resources, supporting existing music programs and designing new programs to meet changing school and societal needs, Music in Schools Today is helping to develop the authentic voice of our next generation. MUST's efforts will continue until the arts are recognized as central to the curriculum in budget and in law.
If you would like to start or boost a music program in your school, a good place to start is The National Association for Music Education's "Building Support for School Music: A Practical Guide" and VH-1's Save the Music Foundation's "Building Your Instrumental Music Program."
